It’s election time, albeit and off year. Many Republicans will be heading to the booth to vote for the lesser of 2 evils. Neither party quite does it for them, but republicans are slightly better. Maybe.
Imagine you’re back in 4th grade. The big lunkhead 6th grader has you cornered in the backstop at the baseball field and says, “Listen punk, I’ll give you 2 choices, you can get kicked in the shin or kicked in the nuts. What’ll it be?” Sadly, most people would probably accept being kicked in the shins. Me, I’m fighting back and not letting either one happen. Sure, I’ll probably get my butt kicked, and it could be worse than a kick in the shin. But at least I gave myself a chance and I’ll go home knowing I never gave in. I might even inspire the 6th grader’s next victim to fight back as well?

How do you plan to do that with a voting machine? I don’t think it allows you to pencil a name in exactly. But I don’t know because I’ve never voted for either evil and actually have no idea how granting that support may actually be seen as “working.”
Well it doesn’t work if working means getting elected, but it does help me sleep at night knowing I didn’t support either of the major parties. I guess there’s always the chance that a third party or fringe candidate will get enough support to make people take a look at them. The reason I wrote what I wrote is because I hear from Republicans all the time who say Republicans are not much different from Democrats, but they are the lesser of 2 evils. They continue to vote for the lesser of 2 evils. I think that is stupid. If one of 2 evils will win either way, why vote for either one? Vote for someone you believe in or don’t vote at all.
