We were minding our own business when suddenly we got an email from our hosting service that we were being hit with a DMCA takedown notice for an alleged copyright violation. It was for a picture we used for an article that we posted a few years ago about a conspiracy theory about the Sandy Hook school shooting.
While we’re against intellectual property, we don’t think we violated any copyright laws, but more importantly, it made us think of some important ideas.
