We start off with some chat about nothing in particular and then transition into piecing through an article that Rollo stumbled upon about the altcoin, Tezos. It’s a disaster of a piece if you’re looking for any substantive reasons to think Tezos provides any value, but that’s why it’s such a good microcosm of the altcoin space. We take the opportunity to discuss a number of the downfalls of altcoins, including liquidity problems and how proof of stake systems wind up becoming cartelized.
